As part of Carlton's IDIQ contract, this tast entailes a hydrualics and hydrology analysis of a large watershed in the North Sacramento region, and a number of sub-sheds. Carlton is tasked with developing the base mapping that will be the foundation for the analysis. Survey of approximately 41 miles of river and canal as well as more than 500 cross-sectional data points will be gathered for canals, tributaries and structures at regular intervals. Carlton will establish a control network that will be the basis of aerial mapping as well. This 80 calendar-day delivery schedule requires two survey crews to work in parallel along with office personnel processing and refining the field data as it is delivered from the field.
