The Big Hill project consisted of a 60 foot high microwave communication
tower near the summit of Big Hill in El
Dorado County, California.
Carlton’s Geotechnical and Structural
Departments assessed the
subsurface conditions; provide engineering
consultation services for the design of
the project to include review and approval
of site facilities construction drawings
and specifications, review and approval
of manufacturer tower submittals, and
review and approval of tower foundation
designs; and to provide construction
observation and testing and special
inspection during the construction of the
tower.
